The Association

The Association OSPITI PER CASA - Bed & Breakfast of quality was set up in August 2003 on the initiative of the first managers on Lake Como, in Brianza and in Valsassina in the towns of Abbadia Lariana , Bellano, Lierna, Mandello del Lario, Menaggio, Merate and Primaluna.

AIMS OF THE ASSOCIATION

  • to favour an exchange of information
  • to guarantee greater visibility 
  • to assist members developing the co-ordination of the business.
We wish to help improve the quality of what is on offer to tourists and to make better known the natural, historical, cultural and gastronomical attractions of the area. The growing interest of travellers in a type of unstandardized hospitality has convinced us that we have made the right choice. QUALITY REQUISITES

To guarantee the same quality in all the associated B&Bs we have defined some minimum requisites:
We put the bedroom at the disposal of the guests for the whole day, asking them to vacate it by 10 o'clock on the day of departure.
We try to provide all the information which could be of interest : about the area, cultural opportunities, amusement, places to visit, walks and excursions, various means of transport and where to eat and drink well
We receive our guests in a family atmosphere but also with discretion and with respect for differences in customs, habits and needs.
We serve a large varied breakfast both to meet the needs of foreigners and to suggest this habit to those who do not normally have it. An unhurried well served breakfast with maybe a pleasant conversation at the end is an excellent way to start the day.
