Description


Favourite since 18 cent., for the mild climate and lush
vegetation, Griante/Cadenabbia known also as “Riviera of the
azaleas”, is in the centre of Lake Como, where the more well
known villas are situated. Thanks to the boat-landing-stage and
the bus stop every destination is easy reachable. Lido with a
swimming-pool or free beach are only at some minutes walk, while
for walking lovers there are several itineraries.
Guest rooms are on the first floor of our house surrounded by a
large garden. Three comfortable bedrooms with private bathroom, a
living room with Sat-TV and a breakfast room are at your
disposal. On request breakfast is served also in the garden.

How to reach us


From LUGANO: exit nord, direction Gandria/St. Moritz, passing the border at Oria and straight ahead for about 19 Km till Menaggio. From MENAGGIO: straight for about 1,5 Km till the small pink tower in the lake at Cadenabbia/Griante, first road right till the sport ground, at the crossing straight, passing the tennis court, you reach Bar Vecchia Torre. From BAR Vecchia Torre: the first road right before or after the Bar is Via Brentano, reach the yellow house at Nr. 12/F. From COLICO:straight for about 25 Km. till Menaggio (see description from Menaggio). From MILANO: direction Como-laghi, exit COMO nord, passing the supermarket Bennet till the roundabout, go left direction Menaggio/Colico and up till to the tunnel, straight for about 27 Km. till Cadenabbia/Griante. On the right you find the ferry-boat landing stage, on the left Hotel Britannia, take the road to the left after the Hotel and go till to the centre of the village (for about 700 Mt.), at the crossing left, passing the tennis court, till Bar Vecchia Torre (see description from Bar Vecchia Torre).
