Description


The Veronelli family residence is situated in the historic centre
of Pusiano in a big courtyard where other families live, very
close to the lake. The family is made up of 5 people -the father
who is a doctor, the mother, a physiotherapist and 3 student
sons. LEON D’ORO is the name of the original hotel that was
situated in the courtyard. Its existence is documented between
1760 and the end of the XIX century during the period of maximum
splendour of the nearby Beauharnais Palace (XV –XIX century).
There is accommodation for 6 people in double rooms with private
or shared facilities, with the possibility of an independent
entrance; an extra bed can be provided for families if necessary.
A continental breakfast is served in a big and bright hall or in
the friendly living room.
We speak English and French.
We can provide historical-naturalistic as well as tourist
information on the surrounding area: Como, Lecco, the lakes and
mountains. Members of the Veronelli family will be pleased to
accompany their guests on walking, cycling, kayak on the lake, or
on car excursions. Reductions are available for families, groups
and clubs.

How to reach us


Pusiano is situated at 260 m a.s.l., between the shore of the lake, to which it gives its name, and Mount Cornizzolo. It is 45 km from Milan (railway from Lecco, Erba and Como) and 25 km from Bellagio. The area surrounding the lake, sung by the writer Giuseppe Parini and painted by Giovanni Segantini, still has that peaceful and quiet atmosphere which made it famous.
