Description


The one-family house overlooks Montevecchia hill and can be
easily reached by the main roads. It’s an excellent starting
point for visiting the lakes, mountains and towns of
“Brianzashire”. It offers wide living room with television for
morning breakfast and conversation and 3 confortable double
rooms, all with private bathroom and wi-fi. A large garden
surrounds the house and it’s possible to use car, moto and
bicycle covered parking. A few minutes walk there are the center
of Merate, its services and the sixteenth-century Franciscan
monastery of Sabbioncello. In the neighbourhood there is the
Curone Park and the Sartirana Lake; here you can enjoy walking,
biking or horse riding. You can’t forget Montevecchia hill, the
Shrine of “Madonna del Bosco” and the Adda River, with its gorges
and the Leonardo da Vinci’s locks. Milan, Como, Bergamo, Monza
and Lecco are easily reachable in about 30 minutes. Como-Bergamo
bus stop outside the house. The railway station Cernusco-Merate
is about 1.5 km.

Guests will enjoy a rich breakfast served on a large oval table
in the living room or in summer, weather permitting, on the porch
of the garden. In addition to the classic continental breakfast
you can enjoy local produces, cakes, jams and seasonal fruits
from our orchard.

How to reach us


From Milan By car: take the ring road east toward Venice until the exit Vimercate Lecco. Continue on the highway until Merate. By train: from Central Station or Porta Garibaldi station several trains to Lecco Sondrio. From Bergamo By car: take highway 4 to Milan, exit Capriate and follow signs to Callusco d’Adda, Paderno d’Adda and Merate. By bus: Bergamo-Como line bus stops in Merate in front of the house. From Lecco By car: take the highway to Milan and continue for Airuno, Calco and Merate. From Como By car: take the highway to Bergamo, when you arrive in Calco turn right to Merate. By bus: Como-Bergamo line bus Stops in Merate in front of the house.
