Description


Our Bed and Breakfast is situated in the middle of the medieval
village of Maggiana, next to Barbarossa’s Tower.
The house has undergone a complete restoration in 2009 conforming
to modern standards of bioarchitecture using natural materials
wherever possible.
Maggiana is 350 mt above the town of Mandello del Lario halfway
between the lake (Como) and the foothills of Grigna Mountain
range (2400 mt).
Two doubles, one twin with the possibility of an extra bed all
with ensuite bathrooms, TV, internet connection in a quiet
courtyard below the medieval tower.

How to reach us


By car: from Milan or Bergamo follow the signs for SS36 direction Sondrio. Exit at Abbadia Lariana, Mandello, Varenna-Ferry Boat SP72. After 4 km you arrive at Mandello, tourn right at the first roundabout, and at the second, the 3rd roundabout continue straight on for 2 km, until you arrive at Maggiana. Follow signs for “Osteria Sali e Tabacchi”. Park your car and proced 2 mins on foot. By plane: we are 95 km from Milan Malpensa, 65 km from Milan Linate, 50 km from Bergamo Orio al Serio.
